As a drone pilot myself it was a real eye-opener to film this 5-part series, following underground drone racers, urban explorers, guerrilla freestylers, and technological innovators, all vying for recognition in this exhilarating new counter-culture pursuit. Our stories took us all over the world, from abandoned wastelands on the outskirts of Detroit, to the simmering lava fields of Erta Alle Volcano in Ethiopia; with challenges such as 50° heat and corrosive sulphur gasses to contend with. Captured in 4K, to be shown on Insight TV's dedicated 4K content streaming service.
